My dear Bijay Kumar ,
I was very glad to receive your long letter dated 11 April and to note the contents. So, you have taken up a big project of translating that volume. Certainly the exercise will benefit you very much.
I have no objection if you send some of the articles translated in Hindi for publication in 'Vivek Shikha'. Only one thing should be ensured . They must acknowledge in the magazine that the article is translated from the book.
Yes, you are on the right track in making efforts to mould your own life and certainly it should be a pleasant exercise. All Mahamandal books will help anybody who makes such efforts. For doing anything great , one has to keep his head cool. Calm and equanimity are essential for taking any resolve for doing any permanent constructive work.
The printed report form has been received and other detailed reports are awaited. Certainly I will give you guidance whenever you seek. "Being" is a continues process and in few years time you cannot expect to have reached the culmination. It is enough if you are making continues progress. That will give you new enthusiasm and courage to strive harder.
It is encouraging news that some energetic young men are joining the study circle. I do not know much about Professor Ganguly .Why is he trying to cause difficulty ? I do not know. Try to find out what has wronged or angered him. If there has been any fault on your part , you may try to make amends in confessing him about your motives.
Does he want some prominent position in the organisation ? That is one thing which upsets many people who place themselves over the ideal for which they are supposed to work. If such examination and efforts to connect does not yield results , you may give up further attempt and mind your business overlooking any mean attempt , to create troubles.
You may try to persuade him to understand things properly while returning volumes he had donated for your library. You may remember Sri Ramkrishna 's exhortations that those who tolerate survive and those who do not are destroyed.

प्रिय विजय ,
25/7 का तुम्हारा पत्र मुझे मिला, इसके लिए हम आशान्वित ही थे। पत्र आने से पहले ही हमने जाने का टिकट ले लिया है। स्वप्न पंडा के साथ मेरी बात हुई थी। वह जाने के लिए तैयार है। अगर कोई विशेष कारण न हो तो वह भी जाने वाला है। टिकट प्रणव जाना , उत्पल सिन्हा , स्वप्न पंडा और मेरे लिए हुए हैं। लौटने के लिए भी वैसे ही करना। 25 अगस्त को सुबह में रवाना होकर उसी रोज पहुँचना है, क्योंकि 26 को कुछ जरुरी काम है। हमलोग 9 up से जा रहे हैं।
तुम्हारा कार्य-विवरण मैंने देखा है। ठीक है। प्रस्तावित शिविर जिस स्तर पर करने का सिद्धान्त लिए हो वह ठीक है। इसमें बाहर के [महामण्डल से भिन्न विचारधारा रखने वाले] किसी व्यक्ति को प्रवचन के लिए आमन्त्रित करने की जरूरत नहीं है। इस समय यहाँ कोई वैसे साधु, जो महामण्डल चिन्तन के साथ परिचित हों, और हिन्दी में बोल भी सकते हों उपलब्ध नहीं हैं। और ऐसे किसी वक्ता के साथ सम्पर्क करने का समय भी नहीं है। मुझे 9 अगस्त को बम्बई जाना है। पुणे, भिलाई, दो शिविर में भाग लेने के बाद सीधा दुर्गापुर जाने के लिए 15 अगस्त को लौटूँगा।
लाभ जी (श्री केदारनाथ लाभ, छपरा) के इस शिविर में आने से कोई विशेष लाभ होने की सम्भावना नहीं है। पहले किसी राज्य स्तरीय शिविर में जाने से ही महामण्डल प्रशिक्षण -प्रणाली [स्वामी विवेकानन्द-कैप्टन सेवियर 'Be and Make ' वेदान्त लीडरशिप ट्रेनिंग परम्परा] का परिचय उन्हें मिल सकेगा।
आशा है कि यह शिविर यथोपयुक्त ढंग से सफल होगा और सभी लोगों की सहयोगिता से तुम लोग पूरी तरह से तैयार हो जाओगे। सबों के लिए मेरी शुभकामनायें इस पत्र के साथ पहुँचती हैं।

एक से ज्यादा कागज एक लिफाफे में डालने से 60 पैसे से अधिक का डाक टिकट लगता है। 60 पैसे का डाकटिकट सिर्फ 10 ग्राम के लिए ही होता है। तुम्हारी खत बियरिंग होकर आयी थी।
