 My dear Vijay, 

                           After a long time I have received a letter from Jai Prakash. I am not going to write back to him as writing troubles me. He has  let us know what he is doing with the award money he has got. He has also mentioned that the suspicion of the village people about the award has gradually mellowed and they are now happy about it. 

                       I don't think that Janibigha unit is sending any reports about its work and particularly how the school is working. Writing a letter in a post card once in several months is not what they should do. Make them understand this. 

                  You sent a long report after coming back from Delhi without any details of how the program was gone through, though you elaborated on what you did not like there. I replied , but I have not heard anything after that and nothing about the work of the Jhumri Telaiya unit. I would like to have a copy of the certificate that was given to Jai Prakash. 

     of late you have also not informed about the land that you were expecting as a gift for your unit. You know I am also interested in your personal affairs .Hope everything is all right there about you.

My dear Bijay, 

                            I received your letter dated 28/5 more than three weeks ago. I could not make time to reply early. Now also I am extremely busy and the health is also not well at all. Somehow today I try to reply. It is long letter full of all your pourings of the mind. 

                  

                Is Janibigha unit sending reports regularly ? Make sure about that. Sometimes writing some personal letters will not be a substitute for official reports. Recently I have not seen any report from them. 

                 

                   Jhumri Telaiya's report might have come. Jitendra has gone to Gujrat. I did not know. He wrote a letter after a long time and I replied, but I have not heard from him a second time. He said he would come to Telaiya . But no further information. Jai praksh also did not write recently. 

                  Have your problem about paternal properties at your ancestral village Kurthaul , Patna solved by now ? Relatives are always like that, It is nothing new. Life is a constant struggle.  One has to fight all the time. Don't worry . Be glad if you are fighting forcefully .  

                    Because that is the condition of life in human society. भाग्यवादी मत बनना ! Manliness is what is prescribed by Swamiji. I have only one Shastra and that is "Swami Vivekananda !" It is good that you found solace in 'Sanath-Sujatiya-Sambad" and " Yoga- Vasistha-Sara." Why should I discontinue to love and feel your agony when you are in trouble ? 

                      This time there was marriage of my nephew at home. That took a fortnight and then I went to North Bengal for the Zonal Camp. So, I was late in responding to your letter. Again on 13th July I have to go for Chhattisgarh camp for about ten days. I will return on 21st July. In August I have to go to Maharashtra. One boy of Jani Bigha phoned me the other day. He said a camp is going to be held at Ranchi. But I have not heard about it . 

                     I am very glad to know that after MBA and IT engg. your son Ravi has got a good job. I hope he will help you now to some extent.  Will he marry so soon? Why does he not remain free for some time and then marry ; if he likes ?
